The Atlanta Community Food Bank is working to end hunger in our community with the food, people and big ideas needed so no one must worry where their next meal is coming from. Since 1979, we’ve been providing food for a growing network of nonprofit partners – including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers. We currently serve more than 700 partners in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

About the Role:

As the Technical Training Specialist at the Food Bank, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee culture and driving growth and development within the organization. You will be at the forefront of innovation and excellence in training development and delivery, leveraging automation, technology, and metrics mastery to enhance the People Experience Team's processes and elevate the Food Banker experience.

You will drive learning through developing and delivering training, spearheading impactful automation projects to enhance the People Experience Team processes and to improve the Food Banker experience and compile and report on key measures of success.

This role is all about creating learning experiences that empower our team members to thrive in their roles. Collaborating with subject matter experts, you will craft comprehensive training curriculum and leverage technology to deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences. Furthermore, you will compile and report on key measures of success to gauge the effectiveness of training initiatives. Utilizing your mastery of metrics, you will analyze data to identify trends, track performance metrics, and inform strategic decision-making.

You'll champion our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives by supporting various efforts, including employee onboarding and projects focused on nurturing the growth of our Food Bankers. The ideal candidate for this role is creative, detail oriented, organized, has exceptional presentation and facilitation skills and expert technical skills.
